I just purchased a new Ruger 10/22 that has the worst trigger I've ever
seen on any gun. I've seen in the magazines that you can purchase any
number of stocks and clips and most anything else for this gun but don't
recall ever seeing anyone offering a replacement trigger. Does anyone here
know where to look for such a thing? The whole trigger assembly comes out
so I would think it would be fairly easy to replace it whit another assembly.
Any help would be appreciated. :)

I'd do a search at www.brownells.com. You could also Google "Volquartsen" to see what they have available.
You might get more responses somewhere other than the Trading Post forum, but at least I can get you started.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it as soon as I get a chance.
I would of liked to go on the rimfire forum but it no longer exist.
I was hoping someone who had actually done a trigger change
would jump in so for now I'll go with the info you gave me and
again. Thanks.:)

True, no rimfire forum. But one of the guys in the rifle forum may have done a 10/22 trigger.
I bought a target model 10/22 at least ten years ago. It has the oversized laminated stock, heavy barrel, etc. It was supposed to have a little smoother action/trigger than the base model but the trigger is still not great. I thought about swapping in an aftermarket trigger group. However, I'm not sure the rest of the rifle really merits it. I'm thinking about just buying a Volquartsen match grade version of the 10/22 and being done with it.

Go to www/rimfirecentral.com and you will find any info you want in the 10-22 section. Best place I have ever seen for any rimfire sight.
