Well I have oppted to install the spring kits in both my Sig Sauer P-226 and the P-229 models. The trigger pull worked out so well on the P-239, that doing so is just a big plus in my eyes and that first shot out the barrel is a no-brainer with a 6-lb instead of a 10 pound trigger pull. Wolfs has the spring kits and the price is under $25 dollars including shipping!:)

Have you ever heard anything about the performance of the TJ's custom Sig trigger available from Brownells? They're pretty expensive so I wouldn't put one on my 226 unless they made a big difference.

Thanks,

We have 4 Sigs at the house, long story as to how they got there but I can honestly say, they all shoot very accurately, especially the P-239 model with the spring kit installed. It shoots 1.5 inch groups from a rest at 20 yards and match ammo!--------Now of course I never did the shooting ok.;) :)
I know nothing about that custom trigger but I am positive it would improve the pistol to some degree.

I grabbed up this Sig P-226 SCT a few months back. Hell of a gun! The SCT model ships from the factory with 4, 20 round factory magazines. I promptly purchased 4 more from Midway. With all of them topped off that's 160 rounds of 9 MM. If that doesn't "Git R' Done", nothing will! Bill T.

Bill T. now that is a very very good pistol, I know because we had one here at the house. I am not into 9mm Luger but the wife used it for awhile until she bumped herself into a .40Smith & Wesson in the same model mind you.

Then the trigger pull was to much for her on the first shot in DA, so I had her try the Ugly Glock. Well she didn't like the feel of the Glock near as good as the Sig pistols but she learned to get over that hurdle in a big hurry.

She shoots the Glock 22 like a pro at the range and now out shoots this old man, not hard to do with my eyes let me tell you. I believe we still have 3 Sigs downstairs in the vault. All of them are .40 cal including the P-239. :D
