I just love the stuff and got to wondering if I could make some.
I looked at some receipes on the net and decided that Fried Rice is just another way to cook leftovers.
So, some leftover rice and leftover chicken, plus some carrots, onions, peas, an egg combined with some soy sauce, I did it.
And of course, a wok.
Twas good.:D

I always request it at my two favorite Chinese places (no extra charge with your meal at either). The only bummer is that it scores twice as many Weight Watchers points as either the brown or steamed white rice.:( I'll have to give it up if I'm serious about losing weight---or do it only at home with no oil (I think that's the problem with restaurant fried rice). Did you use only soy sauce but no oil?

Just a little olive oil to cook the eggs and veggies. The chicken was leftover.
Soy with the 2 day old rice.

I became a fan of fried rice when in college and went to Nassau for spring break- 47 yrs ago--I still love it but do mine simply-- Onions, cubed left over pork(Fav),butter (for frying) S&P, Soy Sc. and some cajun seasoning or cayenne pepper.
